So, I have this in my collection...
Aeroplane (from the LEGO City Airport set) |
I then took it partially apart, removed 2 fuselage segments, moved the wings, and with the help of additional pieces, made...
A seaplane! |
All additional pieces came from the same original LEGO set (#3182, the airport), even if they were not initially part of the jet.
Front view of the seaplane. |
The fuselage doesn't touch the floor! |
Side of the plane. The seaplane only seats 2 crew and 4 passengers. (Original jet: 2 crew, 10 passengers) |
The fuselage sections removed from the original jet became the floats. |
The top half of the floats were segments from the original set's control tower. |
Fun on a Wednesday night!
