Seaplane

So, I have this in my collection...

Aeroplane (from the LEGO City Airport set)

I then took it partially apart, removed 2 fuselage segments, moved the wings, and with the help of additional pieces, made...

A seaplane!

All additional pieces came from the same original LEGO set (#3182, the airport), even if they were not initially part of the jet.

The fuselage doesn't touch the floor!

Side of the plane. The seaplane only seats 2 crew and 4 passengers. (Original jet: 2 crew, 10 passengers)

The fuselage sections removed from the original jet became the floats.

The top half of the floats were segments from the original set's control tower.
